Sambla
Sambla Group is a Swedish fintech company based in Stockholm that helps people compare and find loans and insurance. Founded in 2021 when Sambla and Advisa joined forces under Nordic Capital, we now operate across Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland with brands like Sambla, Advisa, MyMoney, Digifinans, Rahalaitos, and Omalaina.
The challenge
To reach new growth goals and improve the customer experience, Sambla wanted to level up their communication. The goal was to become more data-driven, relevant, and accurate at every touchpoint. A big focus was on boosting personalization and working more consistently across channels. Even with previous investments, they needed to review where they stood, find areas to improve, and map out a clear plan to make their communication even more effective over time.
Our mission
Sambla brought in Remotion to run a feasibility study aimed at boosting the impact of their customer communication. The main focus was on getting more value out of current investments – especially their chosen Customer Data Platform – to enable more relevant, data-driven, and personalized conversations.
The study included a full review of Sambla's communication across all channels. We focused extra on owned channels, like email and SMS, while also looking at the potential within paid media. The goal was to understand how target groups and messages are used today, and how a more cross-channel approach can drive better results and a more seamless customer journey.
The project resulted in a concrete roadmap with clear recommendations on how to tweak the data model, build a unified customer view, and manage communication in real time – based on where each person is and what they need. The goal was to build a scalable foundation for triggered communication that strengthens both the customer experience and the business.
Next steps – from plan to action
Following the study, Remotion was trusted to keep supporting Sambla with the day-to-day work of developing and launching new campaigns. A dedicated Marketing Automation specialist joined their team to help speed up daily operations.
At the same time, we kicked off the implementation of the roadmap. Remotion helped refine the data model in the CDP based on business needs, and supported the team in defining technical requirements for the tech department – ensuring new solutions were built the right way from the start. Everything was driven by clearly defined use cases with business value as our guiding star.
