  1. Cookies and analytics services

4.1 Cookies

Remotion uses cookies on our website. A cookie is a small text file saved on your computer or device. We use them to give you the best experience on our site, as well as for marketing and communication. Remotion also uses remarketing services to show you ads on other websites after you have visited us. We and our partners use cookies to customize and show ads based on your previous visits.

4.2 Analyst Services

On our website, we use analytics services provided by third parties. These analytics services collect, among other things, your IP address and information about the use of and traffic to our website to help us develop and customize our products and services better.

4.3 Links to third parties

Our service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be redirected to that third party's website. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

4.4 The self-assessment on the website

When you take the self-assessment on remotion.se, we store your contact details and your answers in our CRM system (HubSpot) so that we can follow up with you. The data is transferred from the website to HubSpot via Zapier. Your answers are also stored in your browser for 30 days so that you can continue where you left off. They are removed if you clear your site data.

If you request a proposal for a pre-study, your company name and your answers are sent to Anthropic, whose AI model Claude produces the proposal. Your name, email address and phone number are not sent. Anthropic processes the data as our data processor and does not use it to train its models. Anthropic is based in the USA, and the transfer is made under the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. The proposal is a starting point for a conversation and not a decision concerning you. The proposal and your company name are stored for 90 days with Cloudflare and shown on a page that anyone with the link can read, so that you can share it with colleagues. After that it is deleted.

4.5 Protection against automated submissions

On the self-assessment we use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people apart from automated programs. Turnstile processes technical information about your browser and device, such as your IP address, solely for that purpose. Read more in Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

  1. Sharing of personal data with third parties

Remotion will not sell, share, or distribute your personal data to third parties, except as outlined in this Privacy Policy. To deliver our Service, we may share personal data with our clients, suppliers, or partners. We might also share your data with trusted service providers who help us run our business, such as with IT support and system administration. 1. Remotion as an assistant for personal data

Remotion is the data controller for some of your personal data. In other cases, we act as a data processor for a third party. When we process data as a processor, we do so on behalf of that third party and must follow their instructions. In those situations, we can't guarantee that the processing will follow this Privacy Policy, but we will always make sure it complies with applicable laws and, as much as possible, this policy.

  1. Your rights

As an individual, you have the right to obtain, free of charge, information about what personal data Remotion processes about you, as well as information about the scope and purpose of such processing, after submitting a signed application to Remotion.
