Background
KP Energy is one of Sweden's leading wholesalers in solar energy, electric vehicle charging systems, and energy storage, and is part of OK-Q8 AB. KP Energy provides products and services to hundreds of retailers in the Nordic region. It offers a quality-assured range of high-quality goods in clean energy, including solar panels, inverters, energy storage, and charging solutions for electric vehicles.
Core Challenge
To achieve their growth targets, which included a Nordic expansion, KP Energy needed to set significantly higher ambitions in recruiting new and growing existing customers. In a preliminary study, Remotion helped define a go-to-market strategy and provided recommendations on the digitalization of their sales and marketing initiatives.
Success & Implementation
KP Energy needed to increase their revenue and scale their operations through a Nordic expansion that began in the third quarter of 2023 when they entered the Finnish market. This initiative required KP Energy to prioritize their key segments and define their offering in each Nordic market.
To reach their growth targets, they also needed to set significantly higher ambitions in customer acquisition and growing their existing customers. This involved defining and strategizing lead management and customer journeys, data collection & usability, and adapting & digitalizing their sales and marketing initiatives.
To support KP Energy's goal of increasing total revenue and scaling operations across markets and segments, a preliminary study was conducted to define a market strategy for all Nordic countries, as well as develop recommendations and a project plan to improve their initiatives in terms of digital lead management, customer development, and sales.
The preliminary study was conducted over an 8-week period and provided KP Energy with the right tools to take the next step in their expansion journey, with Remotion also receiving continued assignments in strategic and technical support.
